AppZen Founders: Anant Kale and Kunal Verma

With the mission of bringing ai to back offices around the world, Anant Kale founded AppZen in 2012. Today, Anant is responsible for the product vision and execution of the company’s broad vision. Before AppZen, Anant was the VP of Applications at Fujitsu America. Anant has 15+ years of experience in software development and has an MBA and BS in Finance and Engineering from Mumbai University.


Kunal, acting CTO of AppZen, is responsible for product development and engineering, technology architecture, and developing the intellectual property for AppZen’s AI technologies. Before AppZen, Kunal was Research Lead at Accenture Tech Labs, leading global R&D teams of engineers. He has developed hundred of tools used at hundreds of Fortune 500 companies. Kunal earned his BE degree at Mumbai University in Electronics and Telecom, then his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia University with a focus on semantic technologies.
